How can I reserve my wedding date? A $150 nonrefundable deposit will hold your date. This applies towards the total fee.Credit cards accepted.

Will you travel outstate? Yes, as long as travel expenses are paid.

Do we have to join a church to use your services? No, you shouldn't have to become a member of a church just to get married. If you want to be married in a church we have a selection of churches you can rent.

Do we need to write our own vows? No, we provide them, but you may if you wish.

Can our children be included in the ceremony? Yes, we welcome them.

How can we save money? We offer a $50 Discount for non-Saturday weddings, also a winter discount for November-April.

Do you require premarital classes? No, but we do offer them. If you take them you save $65 on your marriage license application in MN. Otherwise the MN license is $85.

• Does Minnesota have a waiting period for getting a marriage license? Yes, 5 days.
• Where do we get our license? At your county courthouse. You must bring the license with you to the wedding to give to your officiant before the ceremony. Also bring your marriage certificate, to be signed after the ceremony by 2 witnesses .
• How long is our marriage license good for? The license allows you 6 months within which to get married.
• If we're from out of state and want to get married in Minnesota where should we get our license? It must be purchased in Minnesota, in person.
• Does Minnesota require a blood test? No.
• Do we need witnesses to our wedding? Yes, at least 2 other adults 16 or over in addition to the officiant must be present to sign your marriage certificate as witnesses.

• Does Wisconsin have a waiting period for getting a marriage license? Yes, 5 days. In special circumstances, this may be waived for $10.
• Where do we get our license? From the county clerk of the county in which the bride or groom resides. If you are from out of state, from the county clerk of the county in which you are going to be married. The cost varies by county from $50 to $75. You must bring the license and marriage certificate to the wedding to give to your officiant before the ceremony.
• How long is our marriage license good for? The license allows you only 30 days within which to get married. You must have ceremony arrangements made before getting your license.
• Does Wisconsin require a blood test? No.
• Do we need witnesses to our wedding? Yes, at least 2 other adults besides the officiant must be present to sign your marriage certificate.
